Howrey partners see profits fall 35% alongside 16% drop in revenues
Howrey has posted a 35% decrease in partner profits for 2009, reports The Am Law Daily. Profits fell from $1.3m (£843,000) in 2008 to a new mark of $846,000 (£549,000). Howrey chairman Robert Ruyak said that the firm had warned partners at the beginning of 2009 that profits would probably be closer to $900,000 than the $1.3m they received in 2008. "We didn't quite make that," he said.
