Partnerships, like all businesses in the UK, will continue to face many new challenges over the next few years as a result of the economic climate. As a result, a large number of firms have already taken drastic steps in reaction to these economic pressures. But now partners of these firms, as high net-worth individuals, are facing challenges to their personal finances, for example, the forthcoming changes to income tax rates, personal allowances and tax on savings in April 2010. Partners who overlook these changes do so at their peril.
