Bristows has boosted its corporate capabilities with the hire of a partner from Kilpatrick Stockton.

Ken Boehner joins from the US firm’s London office, where he was a partner in the corporate practice.

He joins Bristows’ three-partner corporate team and will focus on M&A, private equity and strategic alliance transactions, advising US and European technology, telecoms and media clients.

Other recent hires for Bristows include the recruitment of a three-lawyer litigation team from Howrey in February last year, as well as the addition of former Linklaters intellectual property partner Christopher Millard as a consultant in September.

Commenting on Boehner’s arrival, Bristows joint managing partner Pat Treacy said: “Ken’s expertise makes him a perfect fit with our technology-focused corporate transactional practice. With his extensive European and US contacts, I am sure that he will help the firm to fulfill its ambitions for the practice.”

Boehner added: “Bristows has ambitious plans for the future so I am excited to be joining at this time.”

The news comes just months after the firm appointed a new senior partner, with corporate partner John Lace taking the reigns. He replaced Michael Rowles, who retired after 30 years with the firm.
