Travers Smith managing partner Chris Carroll has told partners that he will not stand for re-election, as his third term in office draws to a close. Carroll, who has served as managing partner for nine years, is set to stand down at the end of December and the firm is now gearing up to select his successor. The process of choosing a new managing partner is being coordinated by senior partner Alasdair Douglas, who is currently speaking to the City law firm's 66-strong partnership to gauge opinion about who should replace Carroll.
