Herbert Smith is set to re-hire corporate specialist Jeremy Xiao as a consultant in its Beijing office.He returns from Credit Suisse after leaving leaving Herbert Smith in late 2007 after more than ten years as a partner, including five years as managing partner of the firm's office in the Chinese capital. Xiao (pictured) will work on a part-time basis and will not spend time fee earning, but instead will focus on developing Herbert Smith's relationships with a number of China's leading multinationals. He will also retain a role with Credit Suisse.
