Ince & Co has become the first City outfit to announce its 2009 promotions, with the firm making up three new partners. Simon Hems, Daniel Jones and Rory Macfarlane have been promoted in London, Hamburg and Hong Kong respectively, and will become partners as of 1 May, increasing the firm's total partnership to 89.Hems is the only London partner made up this year and focuses his practice on commercial litigation within the energy sector. He represents oil and gas contractors in construction disputes, both onshore and offshore.
