Linklaters' associates laid off in London as part of the firm's extensive redundancy consultation will receive a better redundancy package than initially expected, as details emerge of the firm's job losses.Lawyers will be paid until 30 April - either as a monthly salary or as a cash lump sum - even if they choose to leave the firm before that point. In addition, they will also receive three months' notice as well as three weeks' pay for each year of service with the firm. The severance packages are agreed on condition that the individuals sign a waiver agreeing not to pursue a claim with an employment tribunal.
