Linklaters has appointed a new chief financial officer (CFO) with a senior hire from banking giant HBOS. Peter Hickman will take up his new role on 9 February after four years at HBOS. At the bank he served in a variety of roles, including director of group finance and group risk director. He also sat on the executive committee for HBOS plc. Prior to HBOS, Hickman was a partner in the financial services practice at Ernst & Young for eight years.
