Lovells has elected Christoph Kueppers as managing partner for continental Europe after his appointment was approved by the partnership last Friday (23 January). Kueppers, who takes on the role for a three-year term, is the head of the firm's German tax group and joined the Duesseldorf office in 2001 from accountancy giant KPMG where he was a partner. He is a certified tax adviser and public accountant as well as a qualified lawyer.In his new role, he will oversee the top ten City firm's 14 European offices, which represent around 40% of the firm's billings.
