Clifford Chance (CC) has bolstered its US corporate finance practice with the addition of high-yield specialist Gary Brooks to the firm's New York office. Brooks joins the magic circle firm as a partner from US firm Cahill Gordon & Reindel. He has experience in acting for commercial and investment banks in leveraged lending, debt restructurings, securities offerings and leveraged acquisition finance.CC Americas managing partner Craig Medwick said: "The leveraged finance markets are evolving as a result of the credit crisis and other global economic forces. Gary's experience and skills will be key in our efforts to position the firm's banking and capital markets groups to perform leading roles in the market in the future."
