Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe’s London office has posted a revenue increase of 14% for 2008, bringing in $40m (£27.4m) compared to $35m (£24m) in 2007.
The increase is ahead of Orrick’s overall results, with the firm’s worldwide offices posting a combined 8% increase in revenue to $835m (£573.4m), a result which will be seen as a success in the current climate, with many firms expecting flat revenue growth. Partner profits, however, dipped by 21% to $1.315m (£903,000).
