Hammonds partners vote in Weekes to top London post
Hammonds is making a number of management changes, appointing Robert Weekes as the firm's new London chief and kicking off an election to decide on a new Leeds head. Weekes, who was voted into the management role last month after an uncontested election, has taken up his new position as London head with immediate effect, replacing Robert Wegenek, who has returned to full-time fee earning after a two-year stint in the role.Weekes, a specialist in fraud investigations and asset recovery, joined Hammonds from Wilde & Partners in 2001. In addition to leading the City base, he will continue heading the London corporate strategy and finance (asset-based lending) practice.
