Latham & Watkins has hired a high-profile US Government litigator in Washington DC, with Barry Sabin set to join the US firm after 18 years with the US Department of Justice (DoJ). Sabin, who will join Latham's litigation department, most recently held the title of deputy assistant attorney general in the criminal division of the DoJ.Sabin's move follows the recent hire of former colleague Alice Fisher, who stepped down as chief of the DoJ's crime department in May, before rejoining Latham's litigation team in September. She was formerly a partner at Latham from 2003 to 2005 and for a brief period in 2001.
