Conyers Dill & Pearman has launched in Brazil, in a move thought to make it the first offshore firm with a presence on the ground in the much-touted emerging market. The firm has opened a two-partner branch in Sao Paulo headed by corporate finance partner Alan Dickson, who relocated to the city from Bermuda this week (1 December). He joins newly-promoted corporate and commercial partner Benjamin Dyer, who transferred from Hong Kong last month.The office will focus mainly on capital markets work as well as general corporate, financial and mutual funds transactions.
