Conyers Dill & Pearman has launched in Brazil, in a move thought to make it the first offshore firm with a presence on the ground in the much-touted emerging market.

The firm has opened a two-partner branch in Sao Paulo headed by corporate finance partner Alan Dickson, who relocated to the city from Bermuda this week (1 December). He joins newly-promoted corporate and commercial partner Benjamin Dyer, who transferred from Hong Kong last month.
