The Commercial Court has recently put pay to the latest attempt by the Russian company Yugraneft and its parent company Sibir to sue Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich for what Yugraneft describes as "fraud on a grand scale", which, both companies claim, cost them billions of pounds.The facts are tortuously complicated, and set out in painstaking detail by Mr Justice Christopher Clarke in his 136-page judgment. But the case is of interest to commercial litigators, in particular to advising on the place of domicile of the itinerant wealthy businessman.
