“I was made redundant a few months ago from my in-house job at an investment bank. I am finding permanent roles at banks hard to come by, and the ones that are around tend to disappear before I manage to move on beyond the first round of interviews or recruiters deem me unsuitable for it. I am ‘going for the kill’ but nothing is going my way and my redundancy pay is running thin. Some recruiters have called me about temp jobs, but I don’t want the stigma of being a temp nor be out of a job again in a few months time. What shall I do?”
