Regional firm Blake Lapthorn is likely to make around 40 job cuts on completion of its redundancy consultation, Legal Week has learned. The firm launched its review at the end of September, with around 43 fee earners and support staff job cuts expected. However, the figure has now been reduced to 40 following the initial stages of the consultation.Commenting on the job cuts, HR and administration director Alistair Gray said: "The consultations with our staff continue. It has been a helpful process for all concerned and the overall number of job losses is likely to be reduced by two or three."
