In the current market, owners and board members of companies operating in the Nordic region may be forced to familiarise themselves with Finnish regulations relating to board liability and insolvency. The Finnish Companies Act of 2006 introduced several conceptual changes relating to the obligation to act when a company is in financial trouble.
