The Diary is well aware that some law students are having a tough time due to the credit crunch, but didn't realise things had gotten quite as bad as they have. According to a recent College of Law survey, around half of students have been forced to cut back their expenditure on clothes and shoes, 41% will be reducing their leisure activities, whatever that might mean, and more than a third will be eating fewer takeaways.But a thought must be spared for the few who have been forced to reduce their intake of alcohol. The research indicates that 26% will be drinking less in an effort to save a few pennies in these tough times.
