The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is set to conduct a trial inspection at DLA Piper as part of its efforts to develop new guidelines for the regulation of City firms. The inspection is expected to be carried out towards the end of the year, with the SRA spending a week looking at all of the firm's practice areas.It is understood that the SRA has written to a number of City firms to gain assistance in creating new protocols for regulation, with Clifford Chance volunteering for a similar inspection in May.
