The Government has launched a 'life coaches' scheme to support students attempting to pursue a career in law. The year-long programme called 'Barriers Leading into Law', launched by Justice Minister Lord Bach yesterday (23 October) will be open to 32 students - either undergraduates reading law, those holding Graduate Diplomas in Law, the Bar Vocational Course or Legal Practice Course qualifications.The project is part of a Government initiative to boost diversity in the legal profession and the judiciary.
