Lord Hunt of Wirral, the former senior partner of Beachcroft, is set to lead a review on regulating the profession, the Law Society has announced today (14 October).The review is expected to produce a series of recommendations to ensure legal services are effective for consumers, businesses and the legal sector, taking into consideration different requirements of the market.The review, which is expected to last nine months, will see Lord Hunt consult widely with stakeholders and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
