Regional firm Ward Hadaway is set to cut up to 30 members of staff after launching a redundancy consultation. The northeast practice is likely to lay off fee earners and solicitors in its real estate division, while two of the firm's 12 new trainees will now have their training contracts deferred until September 2009.It is thought the majority of redundancies will be made at the firm's Newcastle office, with non-fee earners likely to be hit the hardest.
