Clifford Chance (CC) is set to bolster its Japanese capital markets practice with the hire of Linklaters partner Reiko Sakimura. Sakimura is to join CC's Tokyo office as a partner from Linklaters. She originally joined the magic circle firm as a trainee in 1993, before moving to UBS Warburg as a director in the bank's Tokyo investment banking division. She rejoined Linklaters in 2004 and was made up to the partnership in 2005.
