Freshfields' Frankfurt-based private equity partner Heiner Braun is relocating to Shanghai. He was set to join the office on 8 September for a three-year term, becoming the fourth partner in the 26-lawyer office. Chris Bown, co-head of Freshfields' international private equity group, said: "Having someone with Heiner's international deal-making experience located in China will be a significant competitive advantage for our practice."
