Latham & Watkins has hired a new co-chair for its global health care and life-sciences practice. The firm has brought in Daniel Meron, previously general counsel of the US Department of Health and Human Services. Meron has joined the firm as a partner in the litigation department of Latham’s Washington DC practice, with a focus on regulatory, investigation, litigation and enforcement issues in the areas of health care and life sciences.
