“I qualified at a West End media firm and immediately moved in-house within the media world where I worked for a number of years. Two years ago I returned to private practice, operating within general media.
“I have recently been offered a senior in-house role, but only for a fixed 9-12 month period covering maternity leave for a legal director. The role would be an appropriate step up in responsibility, and would improve my current (pretty poor) media lawyer salary. If it turned out to be a permanent position, it would be fantastic.
