The Metropolitan Police has completed a review of its legal advisors with 13 firms – including Eversheds, Burges Salmon and Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons – securing places on the panel.

The overhaul of the force’s legal services, led by director of legal services Edward Solomons, will see the chosen firms work across specific sectors including property, employment and litigation, with some practices instructed for high-end work and others for low-end work.
