Latham & Watkins has appointed David Heller as its new global head of finance. Chicago-based Heller is currently co-head of the US firm's insolvency practice as well as co-leading its Latin American practice group. Heller succeeds William Voge, who has been elected to the firm's executive committee. Heller recently represented Bally Total Fitness in its Chapter 11 filing in the Southern District of New York and led the restructuring and sale of telecoms group AT&T Latin America.
