NYSE Euronext has hired veteran Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy partner John Halvey as its new general counsel. Halvey replaces Rachel Robbins, who is set to leave the company at the beginning of March. He will report into NYSE Euronext chief executive Duncan Niederauer. Halvey joined US firm Milbank 22 years ago and was responsible for setting up its global IT outsourcing practice.
