Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has hired former Air Canada general counsel John Baker to head its aviation practice as the firm bids to expand the sector group.
Baker, who focused on a wide range of aviation matters in his role with Air Canada, including defending the company against a hostile takeover bid, joins as a partner and will head up the 35-lawyer industry group.
