It may not quite be on par with Ewan McGregor’s latest epic motorcycle trip, but a team of lawyers from the City arm of transatlantic client-collector White & Case has been doing its bit for charity by cycling across Africa – perhaps in search of a few more emerging markets along the way.

The four cyclists raised around £30,000 for the International Childcare Trust by travelling more than 400km across Kenya in five days. It is the latest rather fun-sounding challenge the office has completed since it started working with the trust in 2000, with previous teams having crossed Cambodia, Sri Lanka and India by bike.
