Linklaters has appointed Yash Rupal as its new global head of tax, replacing Guy Brannan, who has stood down from the role after serving two terms. Rupal, who has been a partner at Linklaters since 1996, will lead a team of around 170 lawyers. Managing partner Simon Davies said: "Yash has enjoyed enormous success in building our tax-based finance practice in recent years and we are looking at replicating that success across a broader range of products."
