Two Essex firms have merged to create a firm with a total of 18 partners and around 40 further fee earners. Ellisons Solicitors, which has offices in Colchester, Frinton-on-Sea and Dovercourt, is to combine with PTL, which operates in Colchester and Clacton. The merged firm, which goes live on 1 May, 2008, will be called Ellisons Solicitors and will focus on work in the property, commercial, employment, family and personal injury law sectors.
