Magic circle giant Clifford Chance (CC) is the latest to report its half year results with the firm announcing an 18% rise in H1 turnover for 2007-08, taking its revenue for the period up to around £680m.
The percentage increase matches that of fellow magic circle firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and is ahead of arch City rival Allen & Overy, which recorded a 16% increase in turnover. The results put those firms’ revenues for the period at £560m and £456m respectively.
