In 2000, Professor Alan Paterson of Strathclyde University described Leeds as “the largest legal market outside London”. Seven years later and the city’s lawyers have been working together to create a unique initiative to promote Leeds as a corporate legal centre of excellence on a regional, national and international platform.

Leeds Legal – the first and only city-based corporate marketing campaign of its kind to date – was established after the regional office of the Law Society and the Leeds Law Society asked its members how best to improve communications between the city’s top firms.
