I am American/British citizen qualifying as a solicitor in England. I will have a year’s gap between starting my training contract and finishing my LPC. In searching for paralegal positions for that year, is looking to New York a good idea?
I have experience in American firms’ offices in London and possibly some contacts that could help me go there. I do intend to re-qualify eventually in the States but is cris-crossing of the Atlantic going to be beneficial in the short term and the long term? Am I getting ahead of myself?
