I have recently completed the LPC (taking corporate/commercial electives) after completing an LLM in International Economic Law. I have been offered three training contracts, one in the UK with a mid-size regional firm to commence September 2008 and two in an offshore jurisdiction, which would start September 2007.
The offshore firms specialise in corporate/commercial transactions, usually with international dimensions, such as AIM listings. In addition, they can offer me guaranteed seats in financial services, M&A, asset and project finance, capital markets and banking law.
