Clifford Chance (CC) has formed its own charity into which the partnership will inject some of its profits, including a start-up fund of around £1m.
The firm is finalising the ‘Clifford Chance Foundation’, which was approved by the management committee in recent weeks and is currently being registered in a number of jurisdictions, including the UK. A governing board for the charity will be elected shortly.
