Chicago-based Jenner & Block has become the latest US firm to announce it will be cutting back its partnership, with the firm demoting around 15 of its equity partners.
The firm’s management began a process to make the cuts from its 185-strong equity partnership last month, and some partners will be asked to leave the 400-lawyer firm – although the changes could take a number of years to take place.
