Media boutique Wiggin has won a groundbreaking copyright case that saw £41m awarded in damages to a number of UK record companies – the largest pay-out of its kind in the UK.

The High Court yesterday (29 May) ordered Hong Kong-based internet retailer CD Wow to pay £41m to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) – the trade association of UK record companies. The award is thought to be the largest in a copyright case to date.
