Olswang has beefed up its fledgling Berlin operation with the addition of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer associates Istvan Szabados and Johannes Kramer. Szabados focuses on transactional property work and has advised a number of investors, including Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund, Merrill Lynch and Blackstone, while Kramer specialises in privatisations and public procurement procedures. Olswang opened its Berlin branch in January with around 13 lawyers.
