Allen & Overy litigation chief Andrew Clark on lookalike nuns and a Saturday afternoon spent in Hatfield Galleria.

Last Friday was my birthday and my wife had a surprise treat in store – a theatre trip to see The Sound of Music (she evidently had to beg, steal and borrow for the tickets – rather alarming to a lawyer). Although having a voracious appetite for drama, my wife can’t stand musicals but she knows that my first-ever trip to the theatre was to see The Sound of Music in London on stage long before Julie Andrews ever found the hills alive with music.
