A clutch of UK firms have landed lucrative spots on a slimmed-down legal panel for the Scottish Executive, it was announced today (3 May), with City giant CMS Cameron McKenna among those to miss out.

The eight-strong roster includes big four Scots rivals Dundas & Wilson and Maclay Murray & Spens as well as regional practices Morton Fraser, Brodies and Harper MacLeod. Edinburgh outfit Anderson Strathern, meanwhile, has won a role on the panel for the first time.
