Kirkland & Ellis is set to become the latest US firm to take on trainees in London.
The Chicago-based giant’s City office is to start a training programme, with the first trainees expected to join in 2009. The top 50 US firm is planning to hit the university milk round this summer to try and recruit for around four places each year. It is also hoping to run vacation schemes for UK students.
