Browne Jacobson head of corporate Rob Metcalfe has quit his job with the Midlands firm to launch his own consultancy.
Metcalfe, who was instrumental in setting up the firm’s Birmingham arm in 1999, is to leave after 27 years at the firm, including 22 as a partner. He has headed up the Midlands firm’s umbrella business services group, which includes the corporate, commercial, banking, pensions and intellectual property teams, since 2002.
