Norton Rose has recruited boutique investment bank Climate Change Capital (CCC) general counsel Anthony Hobley as head of the firm's global climate change and carbon finance practice. Norton Rose advised CCC last year on the formation of the biggest private fund created to trade in carbon dioxide emission credits. CCC had traditionally used Hobley's former firm, Baker & McKenzie, but Norton Rose won the deal after pitching for work in 2006.
