Clifford Chance's Paris arm has appointed Debra Counsell to join its energy, infrastructure and projects group as of counsel. Counsell joins after 10 years as a partner in the Melbourne and Hanoi offices of the Australian law firm Phillips Fox. She has 16 years of experience specialising in international infrastructure, major projects and procurements for lenders, sponsors and governments. The move is part of a push by the firm to develop its projects team in the region.
