Pitmans has raided Thames Valley rival ClarksLegal for two senior corporate lawyers.Corporate finance head Adam Dowdney has joined Pitmans with associate Matthew Vance. The pair will work in the 26-partner firms Reading branch.Dowdney, who specialises in M&A and Alternative Investment Market work, will join as a corporate partner and Vance, formerly a lawyer at Travers Smith and Berwin Leighton Paisner, joins Pitmans as a senior associate.
