Tony Angel’s decision not to stand for a third term as Linklaters managing partner will have come as no surprise to readers of Legal Week. Back in October, we reported an expectation among Linklaters partners that Angel had had enough, although it has only just emerged that he informed the board of his decision as long ago as September.
